Caileys Restaurant History

The Caileys Kitchen is one of the most budget friendly restaurants inside

Nasugbu, Batangas. The restaurant is owned by Mr. Ricardo and Mrs. Caridad Garfil.

Based on my interview, Mr. Ricardo during his prime was a vice president of a Hotel in

Dubai while Mrs. Caridad was a licensed real state agent in RCD homes. The Caileys

Restaurant was founded on the year 2019 offering different types of products and

services since then. It is located along the Nasugbu National Highway near IB Calingasan

Institution. After a year of operating, Mr. and Mrs. Garfil expanded their restaurant’s

floor area allowing them to accommodate more customers also renovating the interior

design changing its theme. After renovating, they invested on chairs and tables and

started offering catering services. The Waltermart Nasugbu branch offered them a branch

inside the mall that serves as employees’ canteen till today.

Marketing Strategy Used: Marketing Campaigns

Acquisition Campaign

Using the Caileys Facebook page to offer meal discount promos to acquire new

customers/prospects.

Monetization Campaign

Creating student meals has helped them generate more revenue from existing

leads and customers. Most students from nearby schools buys this type of promo because

of lower price for a complete meal. Aside from walk-in customers, offering a Free

Delivery for every online order also boost the amount meal servings they sell everyday.

Impact of Pandemic to the Establishment

Changes

 Limited Dine-ins and orders

 Catering stopped during the lockdown period

 Only accepting deliveries since dine-in is not allowed

 Higher operation cost due to delivery vehicle gas and maintenance resulting to

lower revenue

 After the strict lockdown, the restaurant can only accommodate fifty (50) percent

of the total seating capacity.

 The establishment is required to follow the minimum health standard

Recovery Programs/ activities

 Mr. and Mrs. come up with a better marketing plan, in order to reach more

people, they’ve used other social media platform such as Instagram where they

post eFlyers of their products.

 Became more active on marketing campaigns that they use.
