    I. Objectives
    At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
    a. define electrical signs and symbols
    b. identify the common electrical symbols and electrical signs
    c. lay-out a simple electrical plan inside the class

    II. Subject matter:


    Topic: Electrical Signs, Symbols, and Data
    References: TLE – EIM Grade 7/8 Self- Learning Module (SLM) Module 5: Analyzing Electrical Signs, Symbols,
    and Data First Edition, 2020
    Tools/materials/equipment:
     Laptop and Projector
    Self- Learning Module, Pictures, Visual Aids
    III. Procedure:
    Teacher’s Activity Student’s Activity
    A. Preparatory Activities
      1. Classroom Management
    Good morning class... Please pick-up pieces of
    paper, candy wrappers and other your chairs.
    By the way, may I know who is absent today?
    B. Review- (Catch a Butterfly)
    Let us try an activity to know if you gained
    knowledge about your previous lesson.
    Direction: Each butterfly is accompanied by
    question. Choose the letter of the correct answer

    C. Motivation- (Car Race)


    1. Divide into Teams.
    2.Each team is asked a question. If they answer
    correctly, click their teams color button to move their
    car.
    3.Five correct answers will cross the finish line and win
    the race.

    Activity: (Draw Me!!!)


    Directions: Draw or illustrate the electrical diagram of
    a simple house plan.
    Analysis:

    Directions: Below is a house plan, make a proposed electrical layout and its representation using the
    electrical symbols

    Directions: Draw the electrical plan of your own house
