At the end of the lesson students should be able to:
a. Identify the importance of the psychosocial activities for their mental health,
b. recognize the importance of psychosocial needs in of their classmates,
c. provide the skills to cope with psychosocial challenges.

Area : Grade 9- ICT
Topic : Psychosocial Activities for Learners
Materials: Illustration or images for the psychosocial activities
Reference: Module in Psychosocial Support for Staff and Students in the Covid-19 Pandemic

III. PROCEDURE
A. Routinary Activities

B. Preliminary Activity
* Motivation: Game: WHO IS WHO?
* Everyone will pick words and phrases in the box and they will introduce themselves
and try to express their thoughts or ideas from the words or phrases that they pick.
Example of Words: MASK, AYUDA, COVID 19, IATF

C. Lesson Proper:
a. Things to Know and Remember:
1. Discuss the classroom and laboratory rules.
2. Explain to the class the health protocols of our school and the do’s and don’ts
in face-to-face classes.
3. Enumerate the things to do and the guidelines in classroom discussion and
activities.
b. What is Psychosocial and How it is important to in today’s activity
1. Define Psychosocial needs
2. Explain the importance of mental health especially after the pandemic and
lockdown happens.
3. Discuss the 7’s of Psychosocial Support

D. Application
Directions: The teacher will show pictures, objects, or scenarios about mental health
and things related in the psychosocial needs of students. They will express their ideas
and thought on how these objects, picture, or scenario affect their mental Health.

2. What are health protocols or practices in your household to prevent COVID 19?
3. How mental health is important to every individual?
