the MCB box are located in each of the floors of our
house. On the first floor, the MCB box is the most
visibly largest size, because not only does it receive
direct electricity from PLN, it also distributes it to the top
floors. So the MCB on each of the above floors get
smaller and smaller, as they only need to manage the
electricity in their own floors, and the amount of
electrical devices decreases as we go to the top of the
floor.
Mechanical
For the AC in my brother’s room, the exterior AC
that is connected to the interior AC is located in a
different floor (the roof)
Questions
1. Explain the installation of clean water pipes
-All of the pipes that flows in clean water, as well as the pipes that lets out the waster water, are hidden inside the walls (as designed from the very
beginning of my house). The clean water that is filtered from the ground well would be used mainly on the second floor utilities, such as the faucets,
closets, and shower, while the first floor mainly used water from the PAM.

2. Explain the dimensions and materials used

-There is no problem as of yet when it comes to the water supply in the summer, as even if the water from the well is having problems, there is still
water from the from the PAM

3. Explain the position of the roof tank

- the roof tank is placed right on top of the roof, but its hidden in a way because the very top of the roof is surrounded with walls that makes it difficult
to see from outside the house. The roof tank itself has a capacity of 1 m3

4. explain the stop faucet/valve

- next to the roof tank, a valve mechanism can be seen, this valve can be used to stop the flow of water at any given time, if need to

5. Explain the position, system, and capacity of water heater

- the water heater is placed right beneath the roof tank, so the flow of clean water coming from the roof tank would split into 2, one current goes
straight to the water heater, while the other goes straight to the utilities in the house (faucets, closets, etc). The heated water is only flowed into the
shower, my shower and my parents shower, both on the second floor

6. Explain the position, system, and capacity of septic tank

- the septic tank is located deep underground, far below the ground well used to supply the water. The capacity of the septic tank itself is 3,7 m3 or
1000 gallons. The septic tank would then filter/clean the
waster water, and when it gets too full, it would channel that cleansed water into the sewage

-the well would gather water from deep underground, and propels it all the way to the top of the roof where 2 filtrations will filter the water to become
clean water we use for things like bathing, washing, etc.

8. Explain the position and depth of the well

-the ground well itself is buried about 20 m beneath the ground

-we don’t actually have a ground water tank in our house, as the sources for water is already sufficed by both the ground well, and the water supply
of PAM

-the water gauge meter is located

-the house is slightly elevated from the street in front, while the sewage is about 30-40 cm deep from the street surface

12. Explain the installation of electrical cables

-All the electronic cables are hidden inside, as part of the original plan when the house is first built. It is hidden on top of the ceiling, because if
something were to go wrong, it is much easier to deconstruct the structure from the ceiling, rather than things such as the floor

13. Explain the capacity of electrical cables

-the electrical utilization in my home is still below the electrical supply, only a few times has there been a shortage

-No, the power socket’s quantity has been customized to the rooms function, if the rooms where many electronics were used at the same time like
me and my brother’s room, there are plenty of available power sockets as well

-All of the light switch in the house is placed in a way that is easy to find even in minimal light conditions, as they aren’t placed behind the door path,
so it wouldn’t get covered by the door

18. Explain the lighting protection system

-The house itself has a lightning rod, so very rarely do the electricity in the house got affected no matter how big the thunder/lighting is

19. Explain the type and position of the AC

-The AC are located in 4 places, all 4 of them are in the second floor (for each of our personal bedrooms and for the living room),

-My current AC is only 2 years old, and every time it felt was malfunctioning or too hot, it would receive special maintenance

21. Explain the condensation pipe from the AC

-On the AC for the living room, the condensation pipe is located on the exterior of the walls because it is the most newly added feature, and does not
included in the plans like the other 3 AC s. The condensation pipe lead to the bathroom, and is right on top of the floor drain. The difference of it
compared to the other 3, is that the pipe is already connected to the inside part of the floor drainage pipe.

22. Explain the position and type of exhaust fan

-the exhaust fan for my room and my parents room are placed right next to each other because of the available space and close distance. The
exhaust fan for the living room and my brother’s room is located on the roof near the roof tank.
