Week of: 17.03 – 21.03 Grade: KG2 F- Tell the chidren
Subject: the title, what could the story be about? Show them
English/Reading
Objective the pictures? What could the story be about?
- Read the story while showing them the pictures
Ten pets + sightwords - Talk about the story, ask what they think will happen
- Write the sentence on the board, try to read together, if there is a word
Length of time: 40’ that we don’t know, we clap our hands (we search together for the
new sightwords).
- Teach the new sightwords

Monday - Story on the board, teacher reads slowly so children can follow
- Each child reads 1 word, we read together
Objective - Children come to the board and read a sentence
Ten pets + sightwords - Sightwords: dinosaurfeet

Length of time: 40’

Tuesday - Children read a word and stand when they read the word, make it
quickly.
Objective - Sightwords: read and repeat the new sightwords in different ways
Ten pets + sightwords - Some children come to read the sightwords, who will be excellent,
very good,…?
Length of time: 40’

Wednesday - I write different sentences on the board (all stories), we read


- Sightwords on the board, 1 child reads the words, other chidren repeat.
Objective - We read the sightwords in different ways (loud, slowly, quickly, as a
Ten pets + sightwords monster,…)

Length of time: 40’

Thursday - Children sit on my chair and read the story for the other children
- We sit in a circle, every child holds a sightword, 1 child turns around
Objective and has to read the word of the child she/he points to.
