partisan interest because a Board of Election Canvassers cannot campaign or
endorse the candidacy of any person because it would be unfair and it is against

ARTICLE II – THE TEACHER AND THE STATE
Section 5. A teacher shall not engage in the promotion of any political, religious,
or other partisan interest, and shall not. directly or indirectly, solicit, require,
collect, or receive any money or service or other valuable material from any
person or entity for such purposes.
Section 7. A teacher shall not use his position or facial authority or influence to
coerce any other person to follow any political course of action.

2. As a professional teacher, it is not appropriate to decline to attend conferences,

particularly when there is no good reason to do so. Seminars and conferences is
part of our job and obligation as a teacher and as a member of the group.
Article IV, Section 13.
“Every teacher shall participate in the Continuing Professional Education (CPE)
program of the Professional Regulation Commission, and shall pursue such
other studies as will improve his efficiency, enhance the prestige of the
profession, and strengthen his competence, virtues, and productivity in order to
be nationally and internationally competitive”.
ARTICLE VII – SCHOOL OFFICIALS TEACHERS AND OTHER PERSONNEL
“Section 2. School officials, teachers, and other school personnel shall consider
it their cooperative responsibility to formulate policies or introduce important changes in
the system at all levels.”

3. ARTICLE XI – THE TEACHER AS A PERSON

Section 1. A teacher is, above all. a human being endowed with life for which it is
the highest obligation to live with dignity at all times whether in school, in the
home, or elsewhere.
For me, Ms. Rose Q. Reyes has the right to post of two-piece swimwear picture
of herself in her Facebook page since it is her personal account. They have still
the right to do what they want as long as they do not violate and she doesn't post
it using his official account as a teacher.
