1.0 PURPOSE:
The purpose of this work procedure is for “use for scissor lift for cleaning of Diaphragm
wall, maintenance of camera, LED and any other activities where scissor lift to be used”.
2.0 SCOPE:
The scope covers the work method for simple lifting procedure for work in scissor lift.
3.0 Key Person:

 Project Manager Mr. Prashant Khapekar
 Safety In charge Mr. Amit Kumar
 F&RM In charge Mr. Deepak Kumar Sharma
 Admin In charge Mr. Dilip Kumar
4.0 HEALTH AND SAFETY:
Strictly followed as per the manufacturer's Health and Safety recommendations for handling
and use of the materials. Ensure all involved personnel shall be aware of the same.

5.0 PROCDURE:
A) Preparation
 Prior to start the work related to scissor lift make sure the following points
B) Site survey and underground services check

 Survey ground condition and for movement and fixing of scissor lift.
 Joint inspection (Site, Safety, Survey and MEP) of overhead power lines.
 Report to responsible person (Client) if any Overhead services fall in working area
and request for Permit/ Clearance/ Power Shut down prior to commencement of
works.
 Levelled the ground and provide clear access for Movement of scissor lift.
C) Approval for Scissor Lift operation

 We will follow safety check list of scissor lift prior to start the work.
 We will check ground condition for placement of scissor lift (check loose soil/
uneven ground condition)
 We will ensure all the hydraulic outrigger is are firmly taking load on a levelled
surface before raising the platform
 We will ensure maximum 08 people with full body safety harness are allowed on
scissor lift.
 Ensure competent operator will be available for operation of scissor lift.
D) Approval for power tools and spanner used in while working in

scissor lift cage
 We will check inspection sticker with valid inspection details and duly sighed by
EHS & F&RM Team.
 Tool Box talk will be conducted before start the work.
