2020 SUMMER INSET

Digital Learning Modality

The unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic caught the whole world completely off-guard.
What was considered as controllable in early January became virulent and devastating
and claimed thousands of lives, locked down countries, provinces, and cities, disrupted
education delivery, debilitated the economy, and distressed millions physically,
psychologically, emotionally, and mentally.
1. What effect has the contagion brought you? How were you able to cope with it?
Write a short narrative of your experience during the 2-month community quarantine
(ECQ/GCQ).
2. Please answer directly below. You may (or may not) put a title. Please observe the
same alignment, spacing, font style, and font size. There are no limits as to the
number of words, paragraphs, or pages. Thank you for sharing your story with us.

“Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be

more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less
overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary.” Fred Rogers

1. obviously, the effect itself of this contagion, first is financially since allot of
neighbours cannot afford without work the tendency is to ask help to us who has pay
check for the aid also for their families. Coping for these contagion is way too simple by
responding of what DOH and government command. My experience, at the 4 th week of
march, we cannot sustain day to day living , we cannot ask money for anybody since
what they have is what they hold. Everybody is panic and do panic buying for
groceries, since im a newly hired teacher I don’t have salary in the months of April and
May but with also the help of our 4 hectares of land at least we fed ourselves 3 times a
day.
