Hold up each flashcard, say the word and ask Ss to repeat. • Alternatively, point to a S with straight hair and sa y, (She's) got straight hair. Have Ss repeat after you. Repeat the same procedure for curly hair and fair hair. • Draw a man's face with a moustache on the board. Say the word moustache and have Ss repeat after you. Draw a beard on the man's face and say the word beard. Have Ss repeat after you. Add some freckles to your drawing and say freckle s. Finally, make a full sentence about the man. e.g. He has got a moustache, a beard and freckles and have Ss repeat after you. They present their disguises to one another and, in the end, they all laugh when they see Tab with a moustache and freckles he has drawn on his face.) • Direct Ss' attention to the frames of the story and ask them to find and point out the words from the vocabulary section they see in the frames {Frame 1: straight hair, fair hair, Frame 2: curly hair, beard, Frame 3: curly hair, Frame 4: moustache, freckles). • Ask Ss to point to the appropriate frame as you play the CD. • Play the CD again and encourage Ss to shadow read (read along with the CD). • Play the CD again and pause after each sentence for Ss to repeat.
