Statement of the Problem in As rice water is commonly thrown away by households that
Paragraph Form produce it, the problem the study will try to solve is the
effectiveness of using rice water compared to tap water in the
growth and development of the tomato plant. It’s main goal is
to find out if using rice water can help in growing a plant faster
and better, which in turn can save money and time for the
people who has a passion for gardening or those who keep
plants at home.

Significance of the Study

Benefactors How will they benefit?

Gardeners The results of this study will be useful to gardeners since they
will learn new information to help with the growth and
development of their plants and crops as well as watering
them simultaneously. Also, by using rice water rather than
regular tap water, this research can help save their water
costs.

School. The school will benefit from the findings of this study by
having a better knowledge of how to care for the growth of
their plants and how to keep them in good shape.
Additionally, since there is a canteen in the school, they might
be able to make use of the rice water there, as the canteen
serves rice meals for lunch and breakfast.

Students. The study will benefit the students as it can help in giving
them new information, especially if they want to study
agricultural sciences.

School Administrators. The findings of this study will be beneficial to school

administrators since they may use the concepts and data to
create projects for the school or to put them into practice
there since the school has a canteen where different plants
can be watered with rice water.
Future Researchers. Future researchers may use this study as a source for their
own research that they may create in the future.
