Job Responsibilities:

• Execute strategic research, business research and consulting assignments (like thought leadership
reports, whitepapers, sector reports, competitive benchmarking, company profiles, etc.)
• Work with global clients (i.e. Global consulting firms, Boutique investment banks, US based
Private Equity) on projects such as market intelligence, market assessment and opportunity
assessment
• Analyse and provide business recommendations to help clients compete, succeed and grow in the
marketplace
• Analyse and decipher financial statements, business plans and forecasts
• Evaluate and compare Business models, organization structures and help build best of the breed
processes and businesses globally
• Develop deep expertise in solving client’s strategic issues through detailed analysis
• Able to concisely and clearly communicate findings to clients
• Provide thought leadership and innovation within projects
• Ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables

Desired Experience:

• Proficiency in Report Writing, Industry Research, Trend Analysis, Company Profiling, Tracking
Corporate Developments of Companies, Competition Analysis, Competitor Strategy Analysis
• Candidate must have relevant years of research experience and can deliver quality and timeliness
for each project through PPT, Excel and Word.
• Lead specific project work streams with a strong quantitative and qualitative component,
including plain vanilla modelling to complex strategy formulation
• Strong analytical skills, comfortable with disparate sets of information and ability to draw accurate
linkages
• Have coherent presentation and problem-solving skills
• Articulate findings through visually appearing frameworks and in a clear, concise and
grammatically correct business English
• Well-versed with market data sources such as Thomson Reuters, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva
Evaluate Pharma, etc.
• Understanding of basic economic and demographic concepts
• Excellence in MSOffice products such as PowerPoint(mandatory), Excel(mandatory) and Word
• Experience in various consulting frameworks such as Porter’s analysis, SWOT and Pestle
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle multiple projects and requests simultaneously
• Ability to work on non-templatized, ad-hoc work

Required Background:

• Strong analytical and inter-personal skills


• B. Com/M. Com/Eco (Hons)/MBA Finance / PGDBM / B-tech from top-tier institutes and
universities
