Learning Objectives: LEARNING OBJECTIVES:


Terminal Objective (TO)
At the end of the session, beginning school heads will be capacitated on the School Monitoring, Evaluation, and
Adjustment (SMEA) processes and tools.

Enabling Objectives (EO)


1. To discuss the concept of Monitoring and Evaluation in schools through sharing of practices in schools
2. To infer the significance of Monitoring and Evaluation processes to school basic operations in an open forum
3. To craft Monitoring and Evaluation Action Plan as school guide in the implementation of SMEA
Key Understanding It is vital being a school head to be able to identify school CIGPs (Challenges, Issues, Gaps and Problems) in order to formulate solutions and
to adjust in the existing practices in the implementation of school Programs, Projects and Activities. In order to put system to this process, the
SMEA (School Monitoring, Evaluation and Adjustments) was introduced in order to guide schools to conduct CIGP processes using different
tools.

authority to make decisions, plans and actions on
school level issues and concerns, it is necessary
that identified causes and challenges are based on
evidences and data, thus SMEA is introduced to
