Monitoring Plan
Professional Standard Strand:
3.1 - Learners’ gender, needs,
strengths, interests and experiences

Annotations
This ILMP reflects how my intervention
plans were laid out for my two learners who
are lagging behind. It is evident how I
shifted to only two intervention strategies to
three strategies. For the first monitoring
period, there were no significant progress
recorded but as I continue with with the
home visitation and online kumustahan,
these two learners are now mindful of the
performance tasks and written outputs that
they need to submit on a specified date in
their Weekly Home Learning Plan.

Learning Plan
Professional Standard Strand:
3.4 - Learners in difficult circumstances
4.1 - Planning and management of
teaching and learning process
4.2 - Learning outcomes aligned with
learning competencies
5.1 - Design, selection, organization and
utilization of assessment strategies

Annotations
For learners’ better understanding, I made sure
that the instructions are brief and concise,
highlighting the Learning Tasks to be
accomplished and the page where these can be
found. Also, I only have selected one (1)
learning task which I think is appropriate to
my learners’ level of understanding and not to
bombard them with a lot of tasks to perform in
a single subject. I also made sure that this
activity will lead them to the mastery of the
Most Essential Learning Competency. To make
sure that my learners are not pressured with the
time and to give them considerations, deadline
for submission was not given.

Exemplar
Professional Standard Strand:
4.5 - Teaching and learning resources
including ICT

Annotations
This Lesson Exemplar was used during my
Regional Demonstration Teaching in English.
All parts were validated and critiqued by
Division and Regional EPSs in English to
ensure the veracity and appropriateness of its
contents. The learning activities and outputs
were aligned to the performance and content
standards of the curriculum. Integration of
different learning competencies from other
subject areas were maximized to ensure
learners’ deeper understanding of the lesson
content which can lead to their mastery of the
Most Essential Learning Competencies.
Different ICT integrations were also utilized to
increase the learners’ participation and ensure
that teaching-learning process is as lively and
active as possible.

Annotations
Collaboration is one of the many effective
techniques to boost learners’ understanding of
the lesson content and increase class
participation. Through these interactive and
collaborative online platforms, I was able to
make sure that equal opportunities were
provided to my learners. Some learners are
usually hesitant to open their microphones and
voice out their ideas, so with this collaborative
tools they can participate by typing in their
answers which the teacher can see and make
timely and appropriate feedback.

Part of my Professional Development Plans is
to enhance my skills to master my craft. This
was done through participating in any
professional development webinars, trainings
and workshops. The knowledge I got from
these was utilized by crafting contextualized
learning delivery modality-appropriate
learning materials for my learners. Several
supplementary materials like video lessons,
comprehensive lesson exemplars and activity
sheets were produced and shared among other
learners and teachers not only in
CALABARZON but in other parts of the
country.

Online kumustahan and continuous open
communication with my learners are some of
the effective strategies I used to keep track of
my learners and to know what are the
challenges they encounter. I also send them
updates regarding the schedule of Deped TV.
Timely, effective and constructive feedbacks
highlighting the areas they need to improve on
helped my learners cope with the lesson.

Several LAC sessions were held and conducted
by the school focusing on the most essential
topics (i.e. contextualization and localization,
integration and utilization of online
collaborative platforms. Faculty meetings were
also held for updates and technical assistance
to teacher and for sharing of best practices. In-
Service Training for Teachers was also
conducted. This did not only provide rooms for
other teachers to learn new things but it also
opened a door of opportunity for me to grow
professionally as I shared my knowledge about
ICT.

some topics that are a bit difficult or beyond
their understanding. Also, parents notified me
if they’ve already received the modules of their
learners. To help learners and parents get and
return their modules and worksheets on time,
parent leaders were formed and different
kiosks were stationed in different places.
