Annotations: I noticed that this student is not doing her performance and her
worksheets are incomplete. That is why I conducted home visitation and give
her some intervention so that she can manage to perform her task given in
each lesson.

Annotations: In lesson planning we have to consider the present situation of


our students. We can’t demand them to do the task the same with their other
students. We have to bare in mind that every learners have different status in
life.

Annotations: In making my lesson in this new normal set up, I consider the
students that can’t do certain performance because of the availability
materials and equipment needed. So that’s why some students have different
style in assessing them compare to some students. In assessing our students,
we have to consider their present situation, their capability to do certain task
and their learning differences.

Annotations: Learning outcomes of our lessons should be aligned with


learning competencies. In my activity sheets I also included the competency
that is aligned with the MELCs. For the students will be able to know what
are they answering and serve as their guides. I also included the rubrics on
how to assess their performances.

Annotations: In designing and organizing my assessment I based it in


competency; performance task is also aligned with the objectives. I do made
worksheet, print and individually distributed to the students under my
subjects for them to easily know what are just the things they are going to
answers. I also see to it that it is attainable with their current situation. I also
include rubrics in my assessment so that they will know how their work is
being graded.

Annotations: In teacher made resources I do have compilation of different


videos and power points for my different lessons so that whenever my
students ask on how to do the certain task, I could give them some videos to
browse or watch. But videos and power points are only limited to students
that can access it or have smartphone or gadgets with them. That’s why I also
prepared worksheet or activity sheets for their guide in answering their task
and doing the performances.

Annotations: New normal set up in teaching is quite hard for me that’s why I
attended Webinars, MPRE/INSET and SLAC sessions. Joining virtual
webinars will hone our knowledge, skills and strategies in our teaching that
will help also our students in their academic status in distance learning.

Summary learning to improve practice

When I first heard the LDM portfolio I thought it was just the same with the
other LDM that we have made last year. I was quite confused why we are still
need to do this for what reason, we still have the RPMS to do then there’s
another one. I feel stress also about the portfolio because I don’t know where
should I get the MOV’s or the artifacts. But through reading the memo about
LDM and watching videos on YouTube it made mi realize that it was not that
hard in finding those artifacts because mostly of them are already available in
our respective teaching class. When I begin making my portfolio, I see the
LDM Course made me realize all the things that I have been doing as an
educator that only needs to be documented properly. Yes, it is very
challenging to make this a success, yet this honed a lot of skills that I have
now. Also, both of my Intrapersonal and Interpersonal skills towards my
colleague and the stakeholders. This made me stronger on how to deal with
the challenges that arises in every day. This course also opened a lot of

opportunities to teachers like me. This experiences and learnings in the new
normal gave me the wisdom, strength and confidence to develop my IPCRF
Portfolio efficiently and effectively. In this way, I can strongly prove that I did
my best in teaching the learners because of the MOVs that is present both in
my LDM and IPCRF Portfolio.

Annotations: Based on my reflection, it only shows that I have learned a lot
and meaningful yet effective and efficient experiences during the
implementation the LDM 2.

Annotations: One of the ways in monitoring


images student’s progress is through group
chats or personal messenger. In my advisory class or even my handled major
class I do online “kumustahan” or giving feedback and announcement through
GC. In this way I could communicate my parents and students. I also do “Home
Visitation” for those students with difficulties that I could not contact through
online and face to face communication or open communication.

Annotations: Our colleagues is one of our support system in this new normal.
Having GC’s, meetings and collaboration with our colleagues help us to
understand the things easily that are going through every day. GC’s helps us
to disseminate information easily, raise our concerns and have brain storming
about some issues arise in our new normal set up.

Annotations: In terms of communication, I see to it that I always updated my
parents and students in our GC’s every week if there are important
announcement and answers some of their concerns about the modules.
