The Covid -19 pandemic has a big impact on the
current era but the desire to continue education
is the only one that stands out. Here you can see
the reality of the live of the learners and how they
are given importance because they are
the real protagonist in this story.
With the help of stakeholders and in the unity of each
faculty and staff of the school under the leadership of our
good principal Sir Elizer B. Pineda, we continue the
aspiration to provide adequate and efficacious education
to every Pulupandanon’s. Carrying the Mission, Vision
and Core Values of the department we will pursue

3.1 Learner’s gender, needs, strength, interest and experiences

ANNOTATIONS

After returning their modules, I ask the students in the group chat about the lessons from
the Filipino Subject because there are some unanswered activities within their modules.
I took the different contact numbers of their parents so I could find out the reason and I
discovered that there are profound Filipino words which have not been easily understood by
the learners, so I provided other activities that suited to their abilities and it’s still based on
Most Essential Learning Competency and when I re-monitored the students. I was amazed that
they answered the tasks correctly.

ANNOTATIONS
I witnessed the reality of life during the pandemic but providing quality education does not
stop and I had the opportunity to make a home visitation with my students following the health
safety protocol. I talked to the parents through physical distancing and I found out that they
were having a hard time with the current situation but I just reminded them that the school and
the Department of Education will continue to provide education in any kind of teaching.

ANNOTATION
In my lesson plan I made a video clip to make my discussion interesting. I single out the flow
of discussion anchored on the Most Essential Learning Competency in Filipino 10 with the topic
of Mythology. Through this I have made the content of my lesson interactive so that my learners
can participate.

My objective based on the Lesson Plan is connected to the outline of my discussion. From

ANNOTATION
In the ASSESSMENT part of the lesson which determines what the student has learned I made
a question that based on MELC. This time I encourage the parents to guide their children in
answering the evaluation in accordance with the guidelines and criteria I had adjusted.

ANNOTATION
Through ICT I made summative test using Google Forms and I uploaded via our group chat.
I gave my students the opportunity to take the summative test and the answers arw
automatically arrived in my account. And just the other day we had an online class using Google
Meet and I gave some activities also through Google Forms. The provision of learning materials
through ICT is a great help because it helps to provide additional information to students.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND:
Professional reflection and learning to improve practice

The first time I just opened LDM 2 course its content became hefty for
me to understand but according to a saying that a person’s ability is honed
by focusing on what he/she can do. We had a LAC session before doing the
portfolio, with the help of our LAC leader she explained every content of
it from every artifact that needed to be put in the portfolio, to what we
did throughout the year during the pandemic she scrutinized it in detail.
The importance of WHLP which is to guide the learners to make it easy
for them to do their tasks. That each flow in the Lesson Plan should be
anchored to the objective from Most Essential Learning Competency. That
in whatever trial comes in life as a teacher you must fulfill it because of
your
commitment for the country. With LDM 2 Course I
will further sharpen my ability as a teacher to
keep up with the trend and adapt teaching during
the pandemic.

ANNOTATION
Based on my reflection, I conclude that it is important to study LDM 2 Course. To be able to
apply the tasks delivered. Equal education can be provided to every learner. That a quality
education can be maintained during a pandemic.

Sometimes I also ask my students via messenger so that I know what activities in the module
they vaguely understand. I guide them as best as I can because I know as a teacher it is my
responsibility to fill each of their souls with knowledge.

ANNOTATION
Due to the pandemic, face to face meetings are not allowed, so in order to continue this, only
the faculty meeting is held via Zoom and Messenger Call. We also conduct virtual flag raising
ceremony at Zoom Meeting every Monday morning.

To keep every parent of my students informed I took their contact numbers and there I
informed the distribution schedule of the modules. I also created a Group Chat so that they are
updated daily with the information I want to convey.
