This student is having a hard time completing the tasks due to lack of parents’
guidance and because he is working in a construction site, I advised him to pass
the modules even if it is past the due date to give him a chance to comply.

This student is having difficulty in understanding the lectures thus he cannot


answer the tasks, as remediation, I explained the lecture to him via phone call and
extended the submission of his paper to help him cope up.

This student lacks guidance from his parents as they are both working and comes
home late. He is also under frustration level in reading, as a remediation, I
simplified his tasks and extended the submission of his activities to help him cope.

I created a group chat in messenger to reach the students more efficiently as they
are always using this technology on daily basis. This way I can create a miniscule
online discussion on the lesson where they can communicate their inquiries and I
can send my important inputs and announcements.

I created an FB group for the updated posting of the modules, and this is where I
put my audio guide for the students to answer the modules easily. This reach
students more efficiently as they are always using this technology on daily basis.

the Division, I honed my skills in writing research as well as gaining more
information on the publication of my works. This webinar helped me in
improving as a research teacher.

This seminar helped me in the field of monitoring and evaluating, although it is


more on the technical side of monitoring and evaluating, like creating google
forms and examining the graphic organizers, I found it really helpful to me as a
teacher.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARD STRAND: 7.4 - Professional reflection and
learning to improve practice

Do you feel that this collection of work really reflects your abilities and what you
have achieved this year through the LDM course? Why or why not?

I believe this portfolio helped me realize that teachers like me are not just content
deliverers and that distance learning has not meant relational distance. This
collection is a summary of what I had been through these past few months, and it is
not easy task to be a teacher.

Going through these artifacts, I seen my and my co teachers’ dedication and sacrifice
to better serve Department of Education and better cater the needs of the learners.
Truly, teaching is a noble job and teachers deserve more than just a “thank you and
small acts of gratitude” teachers are front liners too.

In this course, I learned about self-love, patience, and perseverance. Self-love, as no


other man / woman can love my self as much and I should sometimes prioritize my
own development and tend to my needs. Patience, as this module cannot be
completed in a whim, it needs tedious analysis and evaluation to choose the best
artifact that may reflect the achievements I had this year. I leaned perseverance as I
realized I could be a better version of my self.

At the end of this module, I carry with me life lessons that I can use as a
steppingstone for the future.

ANNOTATIONS

With strong support of the LGUs and the parents, our school was able to reach all
the students in five barangays. Each barangay picks up the modules from the
school and hand it down to the focal persons per purok. The parents then pick up
their modules from the focal persons.
