Introduction
This report refers to non-conformances observed during a recent site visit to the Zone D1 lift lobby area
at level 1 and BOH area at Level 3 in Building 2.

Observations
01. Cables are installed without completing cable tray accessory (add-on tee) installation. Therefore
cables and trays could be deformed due to lack of supports and result in cable insulation failure.

OE, TN & SA,

area at level 3 without any protection means to protect the DBs in the event of any leakage in the
mechanical pipes.

Remarks and Recommendation:

Remedial actions shall be taken by the contractor to install the missing accessories in cable trays
and raise the cable and wires inspections prior to close the ceiling/installation of ceiling framework.
Furthermore, all distribution boards shall be protected against water leakages which likely to
happen in mechanical pipes.
