1. Sumptuous (adj.) - शानदार, आलीशान - impressive, expensive, and of high
quality

Example-
1) A sumptuous feast/banquet/dinner
2) The celebrity guests turned up dressed in sumptuous evening gowns.

4. Rudimentary (adj.) - basic, and not detailed or developed

Example-
1) Her knowledge is still only rudimentary.
2) He had got a rudimentary formal education.

Synonyms- crude, low, primitive, rude

5. Neophyte (noun) – नवतिष्य, someone who has recently become involved in

1) Poets are unfettered by the normal rules of sentence structure.
2) Unfettered free trade.

Synonyms – unrestricted, unchecked, free, uncontrolled.

8. Surplus (noun/adj.)- a. (Noun)- अधिकता - a quantity or amount left over in


excess of what is required

Example-

2) The world is now producing large food surpluses.

Synonyms- excess, surfeit, superabundance, superfly.

b. (Adj.)- आवश्यकता से अधिक - more than what is needed or used; excess.

Example-

9. Quixotic (adj.) -अवास्ततवक , ख्याली - having or showing ideas that are
different and unusual but not practical or likely to succeed

2) He has not been successful in life because of his quixotic ideas.

Synonyms- romantic, utopian, visionary, perfectionist, unrealistic

10. Throttle (noun/verb)- a. (verb)- गला घ ट

tightly so that they cannot breathe

engine and so changes the power with which the engine operates
