 Conditions, Rules and Regulations

General rules:
1. Only teachers are allowed to be present at the contest room.
2. Parents are not allowed to be at the contest room.
3. Food (breakfast during registration and lunch) is provided only for 19 students and 5
coordinators from each school.
4. Each student will be given a tag with ID numbers to identify them. The students are
required to always wear their tags.
5. The students are required to wear traditional attire throughout the contest
6. Microphones are not provided during the contest.
7. Judges decisions are final.

Solo Thevaram

1. Three Thirumurai songs are given in audio.

2. Student are required to memorize all the Thirumurai.
3. For the solo performance, for the first round student can choose a song of their personal
choice and sing them.
4. As for the second song, student have to choose the song shuffled by their self.
5. The thirumurai should be between 3 to 4 minutes.

Group Thevaram

1. Three Thirumurai songs are given in audio.

2. Student are required to memorize all the Thirumurai.
3. The students are required to select any one song from the three songs and sing in a group.
4. The thirumurai should be between 3 to 4 minutes.
