SUBJECT : Observed Leakages due to Typhoon Paeng at BPO Tower 1

Good day Ma’am / Sir,

We would like to inform you regarding all the leakages observed at BPO Tower 1 Level 11, 18, 19, and
20 due to Typhoon Paeng details as follows:

1. AYALA (GL S/4-2), Leakage observed at Level 11 coming from an open window at Level 12
Panel 68 of BPO Tower 1 that passes through the groove of the sill cover.
2. EAST STREET (GL Q-O/2), Leakage observed coming from miter at Level 18 Panel 100, and
Level 19 Panel 93 and 100 of BPO Tower 1.
3. COURTYARD (GL N/3-2), Leakage observed coming from the bulb gasket between window
sash frame due to misalignment at Level 20 Panel 116 of BPO Tower 1.
4. COURTYARD (GL N/3-2), Leakage observed coming from the miter and gasket between
glass and aluminum at Level 20 Panel 118 of BPO Tower 1.

Based on the inspection conducted the source of leakages was due to poor workmanship. The leak’s
rectification was completed on November 4, 2022. Please see attached plans and photos for your
reference. Thank you.
