Profession Nursing this in accordance with the time which has determined.

This 5D Reflective Dissemination was compiled as a result of a journal

analysis on actions that can be applied to patients in Gunung Sari Health
Center with based evidence based in accordance case which we meet on
station Practice Basic Nursing Profession Student Health Polytechnic
Mataram Ministry of Health Nursing Department of Nursing Professional
Education Program 2022. Completion This dissemination could not be
separated from the help of Group Members, Land Supervisors, Academic
Advisors and various parties, therefore through this opportunity We thank
all parties for all the support and his guidance so that dissemination this

B. Description

On when we are on duty the morning of 27 september 2022 , we take

care of child “S ” with a medical diagnosis of ARI. Condition child

moment that fever , runny nose , cough accompanied phlegm that is

hard to come out, sounds voice breath ronchi and respiration 22 x/min

with diagnosis nursing cleaning Street breath no effective relate with

sputum accumulation . one _ actions taken by the health center in

handle cleaning Street breath no effective is with gift drug ambroxol ,

ctm, paracetamol, and vit. B Complex. After being given oral drug

therapy, the problem of ineffective airway clearance has not been

resolved. Therefore, we provide non-pharmacological therapy in the

form of simple steam inhalation with eucalyptus oil. I inhale steam

simple oil wood white is giving drug with method inhaled in form steam

into the channel breathing is done with ingredient and simple way _ as

well as could done in the environment family . Previously we gave

inhalation steam simple oil wood white more first we measure vital signs

, regulate position patient on position sit or fowler, identify ability cough ,

and monitor existence sputum retention . Next bring it close com filled

with warm water with temperature 43 o C then head patient closed with

steam towel _ no come out , suggest patient interesting breath , eyes

 closed while inhale hot steam _ the for 2 minutes , do over and over

again for 15 minutes . So that I think is there is influence inhalation

steam simple oil wood white in loosen up Street breath .

C. Dissection

Infection channel breathing acute (ARI) is inflammation consequence

with a ratio of 2-3 drops of eucalyptus oil to 250 ml (1 cup) of water at a

temperature of 42-44 O
C (Erwan et al, 2022). For To do inhalation

therapy can be done 2 times a day, in the morning and evening for 10-

Therapy inhalation steam This simple method is able to overcome the

problem of airway clearance in children with acute respiratory infections

(ARI). On the first day of 27 September 2022, nursing actions were

carried out in accordance with the planned nursing intervention and the

patient's response was obtained saying the patient felt more

comfortable, coughing was still phlegm and difficult to expel, ronchi

breath sounds and respiration 22x/minute. Then on the second day on

28 September 2022, nursing actions were carried out in accordance

with the planned nursing intervention and the response was obtained by

the patient being able to expel phlegm with an effective but slight

cough, ronchi breath sounds, and respiration 22x/minute. On the third

day, September 29, 2022, nursing actions were carried out in

accordance with the planned nursing intervention and the patient's

response was that it was easy to expel phlegm, decreased cough

frequency, more relieved breath, reduced additional breath sounds, and

21x/minute respiration. After nursing actions were carried out in the

form of simple steam inhalation of eucalyptus oil, the problem of airway

clearance in patients with acute respiratory infections was resolved.

Handling airway clearance using simple steam inhalation has a number

of therapeutic effects, namely thinning mucus in the nasal passages

and sinuses and under the respiratory tract. This vaporizer is also

useful as a natural expectorant and cough suppressant. The way

inhalation works is that water vapor entering the body will easily pass

through the lungs and flow into the blood vessels through the alveoli.

The effect of steam therapy can increase oxygen consumption,

increase pulse rate, and discharge of fluids that are not needed by the

body such as thinning mucus that clogs the respiratory tract (Wahyu,

2020). This is in line with the results of a study by Puji Ningsih (2018)

which explained that children who were given steam inhalation with

eucalyptus oil droplets could more easily expel secretions, did not have

a sore throat when coughing, reduced nasal congestion, and breathed

more easily.

E. Decision

What we do :

1. Notice condition disease patient , no To do inhalation steam simple

on patients who have hypersensitivity or allergy with oil certain and

patient with lesson or need on face .

2. Give action in the form of inhalation steam simple a with oil wood

white as much as 2 times a day in the morning and evening for 10-15

minutes.
