Monitoring Report of 2010 projects

1. Introduction part
 Short summary about the program

 There were 48 sub projects in the Budget year (of which , 1 ,43 and 4 of the sub
projects were categorized as schedule one , two and three respectively).

 All sub projects were Screened and appropriate safeguard tools (ESIA, IEE, ESMP
and RAP were prepared for 1 sub projects). All Sub projects were certified by EPA
before commencement of the physical work .

 This quarter / bi-annual/ monitoring report prepared23 for 43 sub projects which
were categorized as schedule two.

2. Objective of the monitoring Report


The general objective of preparing this monitoring report is to evaluate/examine
whether the proposed mitigation measures are implemented as indicated ESMP and in
timely bases. The specific objectives are:-
1, to examine each mitigation measures is implemented timely;
2, to investigate the major challenges in implementing the proposed mitigation
measures;
3, To announce for zonal Environmental Protection Land Administration and Use
Authority/ Department if there are design changes upon environmentally and socially
certified sub-projects;
4, to disclose the ESIA/IEE implementation status to respective stakeholders.
5. to identify positive impacts emanated from each sub projects .
3.Methods and Approaches of Monitoring
In order to meet the above described objectives information was collected through field visit
and desk review. The following specific tools was used as monitoring methods

 Interview with interested and PAPs
