6. Past continous tense


Function : menyatakan peristiwa yang sedang terjadi di masa lampau/ kejadian yang belum
lengkap/belum selesai di masa lampau
Form : (+) S + To be 2 (Was/Were) + V1-ing
(-) S + To be 2 (Was/Were) + not + V1-ing

Biasanya memakai when atau while dan diikuti oleh kalimat past tense (lampau)

7. Past Perfect Tense


Func : Memperluar suatu kejadian yang telah terjadi sebelum kejadian lainya di masa lampau
Form : (+) S + Had + V3
(-) S + Had + Not + V3

Budiman’s family had not been in Aceh before the tragedy of tsunami happened in 2004.

8. Past pefect continous tense


Func : Digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu aksi dengan waktu tertentu telah selesai di masa lalu
Form : S + Had + been + V-ing
S + Had + not + been + V-ing
I had been waiting here for 2 hours before finally the bus came
I had been working with my computer all day and I wanted to do was eat some chocolate.
9. Simple Future
Membicarakan suatu kejadian yang akan terjadi di masa depan, atau yang akan datang
S + Will/Shall + V1 + O
10. Future Continous Tense
Menyatakan suatu peristiwa yang akan sedang berlansung di masa yang akan datang, dan kamu sedang
melakukan sesuatu
S + Will/shall + be + V-ing

11. Future Perfect Tense
Future perfect tense digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kejadian yang akan selesai di masa depan

11. Future Perfect Continous Tense
Future perfect tense digunakan untuk membicarakan tentang aksi yang panjang sebelum titik waktu
tertentu di masa depan.
S + Will + Have + Been + V-ing
He will have been studying in Japan for a year by the end of next year
Dia akan belajar di Jepang selama setahun pada akhir tahun depan

Andra will have been waiting for three month when the corn is ready to harvest
Andra akan menunggu selama tiga bulan saat jagung siap panen

I will have been sleeping for two hours by the time my brother gets home
