If we refer to the motion, With all due respect, I can't agree to that. And I bag to differ.
Because there are 2 points that we will discuss here :
Everyone's right to express or giving opinion If we discuss the world of politics, in the world of politics, there are some of rules. If we talk about politics in Indonesia, of course, the political world in Indonesia has rules regarding politics. And The connection with the motion that we are discussing right now is. in Indonesia, especially in UUD 1945 in Pasal 28E paragraph (3) which states that "everyone has the right to freedom of association, assembly and expression"or setiap orang berhak atas kebebasan berserikat, berkumpul dan mengeluarkan pendapat . and in Pancasila on 5th sila said that "Social justice for all Indonesian people"or keadilan sosial bagi seluruh rakyat indonesia. Therefore, Based on the pasal and the 5th sila above, we can understand that all Indonesian people have the right to express or delivering opinions, and do not rely on that person's background. Even that he was an artists as well or from ulama' or religious leaders. Not only people with a high titles who can have ideas, who can deliver their opinions, so people said that he will be worthy of entering into the world of politics and blablabla, if we look subjectively, we can say that, the opinion above is correct. But, when we look objectively there are many Indonesian citizens, especially an Ulama or religious leader who has competent and highly intellectual thoughts. We can take an example, not far from us and surely many people know about him, yes Tuan Guru Bajang, TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid . who have many achievements in the world of politics, which we will discuss in the second point. Ulama or religious leaders who has a lot of Achievements or excel in politics As a little spoiler that I have given in the first point, there are so many Ulama or religious leaders who are involved in the world of politics, but to save time, here I take only one person as an example of an accomplished religious leader such as: 1. TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Majid His role in politics is very familiar, not a few people who know his background. Yes, he is a great Ulama in the West Nusa Tenggara area who was become a governor of west nusa tenggara for 2 terms of office, from 2008 till 2018, in his political work , he served as a member of the DPR RI in the bulan bintang political group since 2004 till 2009 and was assigned to commission 10. During his leadership, West Nusa Tenggara began to move forward, especially regarding infrastructure in West Nusa Tenggara. Even the Minister of National Development Planning or Bappenas or Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional said that the leadership of Tuan Guru Bajang succeeded in making a phenomenal achievement for a governor in dealing with poorness case. just Imagine, from the poorness rate of 24 percent in 2008, it fell 10 percent to 14.7 percent in 2018. This is not an easy achievement for many people. Even the economic case growth has reached 7 percent.. We can no longer doubt his performance. So, what else can make our belief decrease towards ulama or religious leaders to become politicians. Overall it may be said that everyone has the right to have an opinion or to express themselves regardless of the person's background, even in the UUD 1945 and Pancasila, this has been stipulated. So, whoever it is, he has the right to get his rights, who knows that a religious leader also has great potential in the world of politics, he may even advance and prosper the people he leads.
