1. Each district/ cluster/ school will develop their sets of questions using their own mother tongue. The MTB-MLE District Coordinator assigns the teachers who
will group together and develop.
2. The number of test items will be followed for grades 1 – 3;
a. Grade 1 = 15 items (This will be given 1 week after the start of classes on the second semester)
b. Grade 2 = 20 items (Both Grades 2 and 3 will have their pre-test 1 week after the start of classes (1 st semester)
c. Grade 3 = 25 items
3. The questions should not be too difficult nor too easy to the level of the learners. Multiple choice with 3 options for grades 1, 2 and 3 will be used. An answer
sheet will be provided to the learners.
4. Submission of the test questions will be on July 22, 2022 with the answer key to the Division Office for a review before it will be finalized by the developers.
5. Get the least mastered competency/ies for emphasis/ mastery/ detailed teaching of these least mastered skills.
6. Submit the results (score, MPS of the whole class, including the least mastered skills) to the district MTB-MLE Coordinator who will likewise compute for the
MPS of the whole district and finally submit to the division office 1 week after the conduct of the pre-test.
7. The test questions will be kept by the school MTB-MLE Coordinator for future use/ reference.
