SITUATIONAL SELF ANALYSIS
Current Problem
1. Using the English language as a
medium of communication will
be one of the challenges I face
when communicating with
students in class. I worry that if my
grammar is incorrect, I won't be
able to teach effectively.
2. Secondly, I have a hard time
expressing it appropriately using
mathematical terminology.
3. When I'm anxious, I easily become
mentally confused and it takes
me a while to recover because I
rapidly panic and forget
everything I need to do.
4. Teaching was never truly in my
dreams at the time. I am
confident speaking in front of
large crowds, but teaching was
not actually my dream career. I
only became interested in it after
taking on the role of a training
facilitator at my previous job. I
thought I would love teaching if I
became a teacher, but now I feel
like I am struggling with it and
can't handle it. there's the worry
Possible Solution
- With the assistance of my wife, an
English teacher, I'm currently
going back and studying subject
verb agreement while gradually
improving the grammar.
- I find it helpful to watch English
movies and educational YouTube
videos about mathematics.
- To learn various teaching
techniques, particularly how to
present mathematical terms in
class, watch a lot of
mathematical demo teaching on
YouTube.
- Breakfast helps you acquire
energy and lessens anxiety
because you're full and have the
stamina to do things and think
rationally, so maybe for me it's
preferable to always eat
breakfast every morning.
- Possibly take a breath before
starting, then exhale. Perhaps it's
also a good thing that you have
a stress ball for relaxation
because it helps to calm your
anxiety. You can also move in
different ways so that your
audience won't notice that you're
nervous, like holding something
while you plan your next move.
that once I'm in the field, I won't
be competent to carry out my
chosen profession effectively .
Future Problem
1. One of the issues I foresee
when I'm teaching in the
future is that I get irritated
easily, especially when the
students is noisy and don't
know how to follow directions.
Children that are obstinate
and need to be reprimanded
have too little patience for
me.
2. when you go to a -
cooperating teacher who will
just give you all the obligations
instead of teaching you and
guiding you in what you will do
in teaching.
3. If you are assigned to a far-off
school, you won't be able to
pay for your transportation
costs and the cost of your
educational instructional
materials you will use in your
lesson. You are unable to
meet the requirements as a
result.
Possible Solution
- Don't be too harsh with the
students that can't sit still and
disrupt the class. Because so
many more students depend on
you to help them learn, it is more
effective to let them know they
are not a loss and won't be an
hindrance to your teaching style.
Report to your coordinator to talk
and explain about the duties and
responsibilities of a cooperating
teacher and the student teacher.
- Talk to your mathematics
coordinator to assign you to the
nearest school to reduce your
expenses for fares and materials
you will use in teaching.
