EVIDENCIA 1: DIALOGUE “EVALUATING PRODUCT AND SERVICE”

1. Elabore un diálogo en inglés de dos personas, en el cual evalúe el proceso de
gestión de la empresa en la que trabaja, o de una empresa que conozca, para
hacerlo tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:

ˉ Utilizar el presente perfecto al hablar de los procesos que se han

implementado.
ˉ Usar los condicionales, con el fin de plantear algunas modificaciones y
actividades a implementar para el mejoramiento de procesos.
ˉ Incluir preguntas de información (Wh questions) en las que un hablante
pregunta y el otro responde.
ˉ Representar el diálogo de manera gráfica usando caricaturas y nombres
para los personajes.

2. Realice un glosario de términos basado en el material complementario

mencionado, con los términos que le hayan sido útiles en la creación del
diálogo, este debe estar compuesto del término y su definición en inglés; si lo
considera necesario, puede utilizar el diccionario monolingüe online de su
preferencia.
 DIALOGO
Lorenzo; Hi, how are you?
Jorge; Yes, thanks, how are you?
Lorenzo; Very good, very good.
Lorenzo; Can you tell us a little bit about how the quality control process was
going in your company?
Jorge; Sure. At the time I was working very hard to implement and improve
quality and safety standards in the bananas company business, especially in
the cutting and picking that I was doing with the same staff.
Lorenzo; Interestingly enough, I was considering setting up my own plantain
business and needed information on that.
Jorge; I'm very supportive of you. But remember, just like the employees you
mentioned, you need to start running your own company.
Lorenzo; This is the management process and how do you implement it?
Jorge; The management process is a set of interacting activities designed to
translate inputs and outputs into customer satisfaction. We have set some
standards that need to be fully adhered to in the companies and areas I have
talked about.
Lorenzo; So why did you introduce it in the cutting zone?
Jorge; The cutting zone is part of what makes a product good or bad, so in
this case exporting banana overseas is the main basis for ensuring the best
quality.
Lorenzo; I also like the subject and read books on bananas and was amazed at
the variety of banana available.
Jorge; Well, in terms of worker safety, one is to wear very good uniforms with
waterproof undershirts, long pants and gloves to avoid injuries while picking
bananas; and two is to have an average weight when handling the product to
avoid future posture problems. The third is cutting banana, any possible
frauds such as cutting hands and feet, slips and falls, these are very well
known but preventable mistakes that can be reported in a timely manner.

Harvesting- The act of removing a fruit or crop from a field after it has
grown.

Management - Organization, management and leadership of a community or

institution. The mismanagement of many governments is making the country
unhappy. The government rewards good workers.

Safety - A state in which people and property are free from danger and
suffering. Authorities increase the security of banks with bars and alarm
systems.
