2 GAP Analysis to Goal Setting

Currently I have my own online lingerie business and I am really my own boss, I manage my time that I
spend in the office with the sellers and the staff that manage social media and advertising, but I am
involved in all the daily processes of my business , since many of the decisions taken influence the daily
earnings.

Over the years I worked in different areas of work like: Insurance saleswoman, Human Resources
Assistant, Sales Manager at a fashion Agency, which has allowed me to acquire many of the KSAs
skills needed to be a Business Operations Specialist and CEO from my own online business.

1. Choose three KSAs that you are proficient in and detail your strengths in these areas.

The Skills that are I have for this field according with JCA 2022 are System Analysis, negotiation,
crithical thinking, complex solving problems.

I consider myself a good negotiator, since I am always talking with the suppliers in China of the products
that I currently sell (lingerie), I always get good prices and high quality standards, and some benefits
when we have a model of our own design made.

I have critical thinking, since I have made the decision to take my business a little further, I want to take it
to the international level through Amazon; since the Paraguayan market is very small and I am predicting
a lot of sales worldwide.

Whenever an internal problem rises in my business, I wonder how we can solve it, for example a problem
that is from my day to day, the marketing people who work with me through social networks usually tell
me the algorithm is not working of instagram, and I am very critical at that moment and I tell them
something we are not communicating well, we are not having as many views because maybe people do
not want to see advertising, they want to see more entertaining content that is not tedious, not just see
advertising and a model in underwear, and I ask them to make different content, for example reporting
now that it was Pink October for Breast Cancer, let's interview girls who suffer from the disease, let's take
photos with them, let's see what our competition is doing. We also usually make reels that are in trend, the
models combining lingerie with outfits to go out and have fun and offer tips to our clients on how to wear
lingerie and combine it with casual clothing.

I consider that I have the abilities of fluency of ideas, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, speech
clarity, speech recognition, originality, problem sensivity. Since I am always proposing new ideas, always
renew ourselves (as a brand, the name of my brand is Secreto Intimates)and not simply stay in actually
work for us.

And the Knowledge that I have acquired since I worked in different areas are: Sales and Marketing,
Mathematics, Administration and Management, Computer and Electronics, Economics and Accounting,
still all of these have allowed me to face the daily challenges that my business faces.

2. What tools or resources will you use to maintain your proficiency in the required KSAs?

The tools or resources that I will use to maintain my proficiency in the required KSAs:

I am a very demanding person and the truth is that I get very involved in the day to day to lead and
supervise the sales team (measuring their productivity), through the organization of weekly meetings with
my different work teams (sales, marketing), to supervise the fulfillment of goals and sales, maintain
constant supervision of collection procedures, training and internal training to work team, since Secreto
Intimates is a company built with a lot of effort, affection and love, I like to get involved with the new
people I hire and show them the whole process since everything even the quick messages to answer our
customers are constantly reviewed by myself, so that it is easier and more direct for sellers to close a sale.
3. What goals do you have to maintain them? Step 2: Assess your skills gaps and make a plan to
bridge them. (150 words minimum)

My goals to continue maintaining these skills will be to continue my studies in order to be able to get my
B.S., to keep myself updated and in all the new platforms that the globalized world uses, not to leave
aside courses, training to contribute something that can make my business lingerie mostly be
international business.

1. What tools or resources can you use to help eliminate each of the three gaps?

1. Currently the business requires growth at an international level and I am sure that I do not know many
of the international regulations for the sale of my products in international markets, for this reason I have
decided to become more familiar with this knowledge.

2. In my short experience as an entrepreneur, I have noticed that International companies offer after-sales
services, and I know that I have a lack knowledge in the area of service orientation to be able to improve
my business. For that reason I have decided to take small courses to be able to offer my clients a good
after-sales service and thus also train the people who work with me.

3. I need to improve and practice my English more, since there are many technical terms in the business
area, which are difficult for me to handle, especially now that I decided to internationalize my brand. In
the future I intend to take a specialized course in business language.

2. What goals do you have to improve in these areas?

1. My goal in this area is to register as an exporter, not only to sell through the Amazon platform, but also
to make negotiations and direct sales with other markets, this I will be able to do only at the end and
closing of the balanace Sheet of this 2022. Approximately in January-February I will be able to obtain my
license as an exporter.
2. Second goal trainning me and train a sales staff in the area of after-sales service.

3. Take a business language course before I finish my B.S. in March.
