Design Result
Using the STAAD.Pro Software for both the analysis and design the following design result is obtained:

A total steel area of 41840 sq.mm is required for the solid pier reinforcement equally spaced
on both sides,therefore 91 Dia. 20mm on outer side and 86 Dia. 14 in inner side of the pier
section should be provided.
