Both theories try to explain the reason for communication in different ways.

People
communicate with each other to have complete information about a subject matter.
Clarity of communication may not be desirable in all situations, they say. Some people
may be motivated by ambiguity over the subject matter of communication. For example,
too much clarity will narrow down the interpretive possibilities. Leaders may make use
of strategically ambiguous communication to have a wide range of perspectives. In such
cases, the communication will be made in groups where different opinions and points of
view are welcome. Theories behind communication may be applicable to a given
situation and context. It is important to be open-minded when communicating with
colleagues. Working as a Starbucks barista, In my day-to-day routine, we use to
communicate with our customers and within ourselves primarily to acquire more
information, assist, and serve our customers to reduce uncertainty regarding the desired
outcome and the availability of resources. Those communications were intended to
have the minutest details of matters. However, when there was communication from the
divisional manager regarding the company strategy or the divisional agenda of the
month, it was never intended to provide a narrow perspective or specific interpretation.
The divisional manager focused on the overall theme very broadly and welcomed the
people working down the line to create new perspectives and thought processes over
the matter. In this case, he was perhaps strategically creating the ambiguity. and
creating an inclusive workplace, where everyone's ideas were welcome
