Bear FAM Planning

● Monday, April 4th: Andrew, Bryson, Connor, Rachel, Joey, Shea (?)
● Stage 3 (Communication) Choose 1-2 activities (depending on
extensions/variations):
○ Car and Driver (Andrew, Bryson, and Joey)
■ Description: One partner is blindfolded and they are the cars. The other
person stands behind them without a blindfold and they are the driver.
The cars have their elbows in and hands up for protection. The cars start
moving and the driver touches the right shoulder to turn right, the left
shoulder to turn left, and both shoulders to stop. Part of the trust is that
the car decides how fast they are going to go. Allow the cars to drive
around for about 4 minutes, then switch. Variations: No talking, drivers
stand outside perimeter
○ A What? (Connor, Rachel, and Shea (?))
■ Despricition:
● Sit in a circle
● Two objects
● Name them (alliteration)
● Teacher passes object #1 to the right: example: “this is a gorgeous
green grapple-grinder.” “A what?” “A gorgeous green grapple
grinder.” “Thank you.” Then, passes it to next person and
continues
● After a few passes, teacher passes object #2 to left and continues
sequence (example name: “rosy red rotunda”)
● Must get both objects back to teacher
○ William Tell (nobody)
■ Description: 8 – 10 people line up standing facing the same direction.
The rest of the class is seated watching. The person in the back of the
line who is the instructor taps the person in front of them shoulder. That
person turns around and watches the instructor perform a long
complicated story through silent motion. After watching, the person taps
the next person on the shoulder and tries to duplicate the movements. It
goes all the way to the end and watches how much it changes. Ideas for
movements include: a person shooting a bow and arrow to an apple on
someone’s head, a person catching a big fish and netting it, or a person
hitting a golf ball and watching it land.

● Alternate Actives (list of ideas if there is more time after the stage 3: communication
that can be done).
○ Spikeball

○ Cornhole
○ Kan Jam Portable Disc slam Outdoor game
