Dạng 1: Agree/ Disagree

People should follow the customs and traditions when people start to live in a
new country. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
a. Mở bài: (có 2-3 câu)
-Kiến thức chung:
VD: Nowadays, there are more and more people who tend to live in places other
than where they were born.
-Paraphrasing đề bài: Viết lại câu được cho ở đề bài sao cho nghĩa không đổi
VD: It is said that when people begin a new life in a new city or country, they
should follow the customs and traditions there.
-Mục đích của người viết: Thể hiện ý kiến đồng ý/ không đồng ý và đưa ra các lí
do trong bài viết
VD: I totally/ strongly agree with that idea and in this essay, I will give reasons for
my opinion.
b. Thân bài: có 2-3 đoạn văn
- Đoạn văn 1: Lý do tại sao đồng ý/ không đồng ý.
Thông thường, lý do chúng ta đồng ý với 1 ý kiến nào đó vì nó có nhiều lợi ích, và
nếu làm ngược lại thì sẽ bất lợi. Hoặc ngược lại, nếu chúng ta không đồng ý với 1
ý kiến nào đó vì nó có nhiều bất lợi, làm ngược lại mới tốt.
Nếu đồng ý, đoạn 1 thường nói về những lợi ích, đoạn 2 thường nói về những bất
lượi nếu làm ngược lại.
Nếu không đồng ý, đoạn 1 thường nói về những bất lợi, đoạn 2 thường nói về
những lợi ích nếu làm ngược lại.
+ Câu văn 1 (topic sentence): là câu văn nêu chủ đề của đoạn.
VD: On the one hand, if we follow the customs and traditions of the new places
that we live in, it will result in many benefits.
+ Câu văn 2,3…: giải thích rõ hơn câu văn 1 và đưa ra ví dụ.
VD: Firstly, we can make friends more easily. Secondly, understanding the
customs and traditions can help us adapt to the new life faster. Thirdly, when we
know about the customs and traditions of the new place, we may feel less lonely.
For example, when I first moved to Ho Chi Minh city, I learned a lot about the new
place and as a result, I could comfortably enjoy the events there and I did not feel
too lonely.
-Đoạn văn 2:
+Câu văn 1: Topic sentence: Nêu ý chính của đoạn văn
VD: On the other hand, if we do not know anything about the new place, especially
the customs and traditions, it may cause us a lot of trouble.
+Câu văn 2,3,4…: bổ sung ý cho câu 1.
VD: Firstly, we may not fit in the new place and therefore, our work performance
may not be good. Secondly, we may break the rules and get punished. For
example, spitting gum in Vietnam may not cause much trouble, but if you do that
in Singapore, you will be heavily fined. Thirdly, if you do not understand the
customs and traditions, it may be harder to understand the people in the new place
and you may not make friends with them easily.
c. Kết bài: Tóm tắt lại bài viết, dùng: To conclude/ In conclusion/ To sum up
Có thể từ 1-2 câu. Nếu đưa ra giải pháp cho vấn đề thì càng tốt
VD: To conclude/ In conclusion/ To sum up, I believe that we should learn more
about the customs and traditions of the new place we live to make our new life
easier.
