Well testing Department – Pre job bullet points.

Pre-Job Meeting

- General introduction related to the operation to be performed;

- Hands safety campaign-impact gloves stop and think before act.

- JMP to be followed and timings respected, as per coordinator request;

- Good communication with daily updates to the coordinator related to the


progress on activities before 7am every day;

- Report any incident or accident as soon as possible to the coordinators;

-Correct PPE be worn at all time during the activities on site;

-Wear correct lifting assembly, don’t forget tag line and one banks man given
signs to crane operator;

- Good communications with all personnel (including the client), with clear
responsibilities for each person in the team discussed and well defined;

- Signs and barriers in place for the activities;

- Use correct tools for appropriate job;

- Be aware of the environment around you , any unsafe scenario or change in


the program to be re assessed and discussed ;

- During pressure test, limit personnel on well site and PTF trained person to
lead the activity;

- Always control the air supply, critical valves need to be identified and
labelled to not be manipulated during ops;
- If you see any leak don’t do something quickly think before you do
anything, never tight any connection under pressure;

- Good housekeeping, special attention on any potential for spills;

- Ensure all data and reports are checked before submit to client;

- Check your choke manifold before any opening, check the right orings on
choke beans , check all threads inside;

- Follow the Expro guide for clean-up operation and test;

-Updated Job log to be send to the coordinator after each operation,


together with all Supervisor Paperwork package -QMS required documents;

-Hose management - (With serial number / WP and type for all hoses), in use
on the location to be send to the coordinator at the end of the job;

-Leader for the operation to training the operators on Separator( On the job
training );

-Inventory of all Safety items on site –Fire extinguishers, fall arrestor, spill
kits, eye wash..., Part of the site inspection / preparation;

-Thickness test, all lines with initial measurement before start the job and
checks during the job in the SAME POINT;

-keep all sight glasses clean for better level control;

-Champion Safety – 3 main focus: RA / PIP cards / Expro House Rules;

-WT Pre flow check list to be followed;

-Barton DPU operation work instruction to be shared with the crew members
and laminated copy to be available in the package / information board.

Recent incidents (Lessons & Learned)


-Etrak event 313389-Importance and requirement for inspection on all STT
interface x-overs during the different levels of maintenance. Use the correct
type of grease, as per manufacture recommendation. Disconnect the x-overs
for inspections during the maintenance stage.

-Etrak event 364464-Importance and requirement to follow all steps in the


job cards, procedures and work instructions, exceptions to be discussed with
management for dispensation / MOC. Do not use N/A or bypass steps in
documents/procedures.

-Etrak event 378991-Importance and requirement to document and report to


office thickness test measurements performed in the field. Improve
awareness on good practices on rig up for gas wells and follow P&ID
drawings and specifications on WTDR.

-Etrak event 365652 – Lack of detailed work instruction and awareness for
Barton DPU operation work instruction on sites.
