Good morning, class!

Checking of Attendance
Teacher call out pupil’s name and give
them name tags but before she gave the
name tags, she will first ask This or That
questions to them.

Checking of Assignment
Did your teacher give you an assignment
last meeting? Yes/No ma’am.
Pass it to your front without making a
noise.

Motivation
Teacher will show pictures and she will let
the pupils describe it.

Presentation
What have you observed on the pictures I
showed you? They are different from each other.
Very good! They differ in terms of color,
size, shape, temperature and feelings.

Discussion
So, I have a friend here. His name is Ben.
 What can you say about him? Ben’s hair is brown.
Ben’s eyes are round.
Ben’s head is big.
Ben’s coffee is hot.
Ben is happy.

Very good, class!

Now let us look at the sentences on the
board.
Let us read.

1. Ben’s hair color is brown.

What word describes Ben’s hair? Brown.
What does the word orange describe? Ben’s hair.
Very good! The word brown describes a
color.

2. Ben’s eyes are round. Round

Individual Activity (10 minutes)

The teacher read a short story in the

board consisting of different words that
describes a color, shape, size, temperature
and feelings. She will then call pupils to
come to the board and encircle the different
describing words.
 Standards: Cooperate.
Follow the directions.

One hot sunny day, John was playing
outside their house with his big ball. His
round ball bounce as he dribbles it and
shoot it to the red ring. After he played, he
went back to their house and drink plenty of
water. Then he went outside and felt very
happy when he saw his friend waiting for
him and they played together.

Group Activity (4 pics 1 word) (15-10 mins.)

The teacher will group the class into

three.
Each group will be given a 4 pics 1 word
worksheet. They will select a group
secretary to write their answers.
The teacher will give them 5 minutes to
finish the activity. After that, they will
present their work to the class.

Standards: Follow the directions.

Appreciate the work of your
group.
C. Application (10 minutes)

The teacher will divide the class into

pairs. Each pair will be asked to come to
the front and describe their pair.
