What is meiosis?

Very good, thank you Lucino… Meiosis has two main cycles,
Meiosis I and Meiosis II.
Meiosis I consist of
prophase I, metaphase I,
anaphase I, and telophase I,
with or without cytokinesis.
Each in haploid cell divides
further meiosis II, with
prophase II, metaphase II,
anaphase II, and telophase II
as stages. At the end of
telophase II, four daughter
cells result and may act as
gametes.
