конструкція
as…as
Українською фраза звучатиме: “так
само як», «так як і». Тобто, вживаємо
для того,щоб показати щось спільне
між кимось/чимось.
Між as…as вставляємо прикметник
(якість , яка є спільною: такий же
гарний/розумний/ високий…), або ж
прислівник ( швидко, добре, весело)
Приклад: She is as beautiful as her
sister – вона така ж гарна як і її
сестра.
He swims as fast as his father – він
плаває так само швидко як і його
батько.
• Три ступені
порівняння:
• Звичайний , вищий, найвищий
• Звичайний ступінь – це просто
словникова форма
• Вищий ступінь утворюється за
допомогою суфіксу -er або ж
слова more, якщо
прикметник,чи прислывник має
быльше ніж 1 склад
• Найвищий ступінь утворюється
за допомогою суфіксу -est або
слова most (найчастіше the
most)
• Вийнятки

-er, -y, можуть утворювати
вищий та найвищий ступені
порівняння як за допомогою
