You are required to complete both sections on this sheet and place the content in your Weebly section called Evaluation.

Wherever you use a quote from any other source, please say where you got it from or it could result in a PLAGIARISM
mark which would automatically fail the unit.

Task 1/2: Reflect on how your work fits your audience (U10:LO3_AC3.1)
Please answer ALL boxes in order to pass this section. You can include screen grabs and links to help. This section is about
evaluating how your work fits the audience you have chosen to target. Answer all three questions fully with supporting
images, links and evidence of audience/survey feedback.

Choose THREE existing professional versions aimed at the same audience/genre as your work. How does yours compare to them? BE
SPECIFIC.

Results and reflection of your survey

Show evidence of your audience feedback and reflect on what it tells you.
Show evidence of your survey results here (screen grabs/graphs/urls/Youtube comments/other)
What patterns or trends did you notice from your audience feedback?
From the audience feedback I there was a pattern of responses saying that my ambient could have been longer and the
movement of the grass should have moved more naturally and fluid. There was also a repeat in responses from the audience
saying that they liked the movement of the water, the relaxing music, the colours and nature.
What did you learn from thinking about this?
I learned from the audience feedback that I should have made the grass move more fluid and natural like it is bowing in the
wind. I also learned that I should have made my ambient loop longer.
How might you make improvements to your work based on what you’ve learnt from your audience? Be specific
If I could redo my ambient loop or improve it, I would make the ambient loop longer as it was not long enough it was only 35
seconds as I forgot to loop it to make it seen longer and never ending.

Conclusions on your audience feedback

Based on what you’ve learnt above, write about whether your feel your work is fit for your specific audience overall.
Remember to say why and prove it
Based on what I have learnt above from audience feedback about the ambient loop I made I learnt that overall people liked my
ambient loop. Overall, the audience liked the nature, colour, music and the way the water ripples moved in my ambient
loop. However, collectively the audience feedback told me that my ambient loop was too short which I already knew and
agreed with. The audience feedback also highlighted the grass should have moved more fluidly as it appeared to move
rigidly and more robotic than I originally intended. I overall I feel that my ambient loop did successfully target the
audience I wanted as my audience age demographic were aged 17-19 years old with the excepting of one 57-year-old.
The feedback was mostly positive from audience therefore implying that my ambient loop appealed to them.

Task 2/2: Reflect on your own skills, processes and personal development (U10:LO3_AC3.2)
Please answer ALL sections fully in order to pass this section. You can include screen grabs and links to help. This section is
about how you feel your creative abilities and processes have improved during this assignment. Answer all sections fully
with supporting images (including your own screen grabs: CMD+SHIFT+4), links and any other evidence you feel is relevant

Talk about three issues you had during production. These could be based on practical parts of the work, supporting tasks
such as research or even audience surveys.

1. Time management

2. The original background had a person in it

3. Using onion skin

How/to what degree were you able to resolve each issue?

I resolved the issue of time management to an extent by setting myself set times to try my best to complete my

work on time
The original background from the film Pocahontas includes a person it, I overcame this issue by putting the

original image background into photoshop and using the clone stamp tool.
I did not feel confident with turning on the onion skin on I overcame this by making sure when I was drawing my

ripples in the water for my ambient loop, I made sure that I was drawing in the right layer
Write about at least three things which well during the whole process?
Talk about what you felt went particularly well about them.
One thing that well during the production of my ambient loop was choosing a background I already I knew I
1. wanted to use an animated scene from Pocahontas as I always thought the animated film scenes looked really
peaceful. I felt that the background went well
Another thing that went well during the production of my ambient loop was me using photoshop to edit my
2. original Pocahontas background. The original background had a person it so I used clone stamp tool to
successfully get rid of the person and replace her with a tree.
Using the asset tool to pin point the plants to get them to move went successfully despite me not being confident

with using it as a tool.

And finally, write a small amount about what you enjoyed about the project which you could possibly use in future work
or assignments. This could be from research, design or your practical production process. Feel free to use screen grabs.
During this ambient loop project, I enjoyed picking the background and photoshopping. I also liked using the asset warp
tool to make the plants move in my animation. I felt that there was more creative freedom for this project which was
nice because previously I disked that we could not choose what are animations actually were.
