Task 1/2: Reflect on how your work fits your audience (U10:LO3_AC3.1)
Please answer ALL boxes in order to pass this section. You can include screen grabs and links to help. This section is about
evaluating how your work fits the audience you have chosen to target. Answer all three questions fully with supporting
images, links and evidence of audience/survey feedback.
Choose THREE existing professional versions aimed at the same audience/genre as your work. How does yours compare to them? BE
SPECIFIC.

What patterns or trends did you notice from your audience feedback?
I noticed patterns and trends in my audience feedback that in the majority questions most answers were similar in what was
Good or what I could change and make better how people mostly had the same views in moving more rocks or adding more
Detail and the way they liked the colour or changing the smoothness of some of the transitions like the stars and that most
people believed that the background music was fitting with the loop.
What did you learn from thinking about this?
I learnt the different ways that I could see from others' views on what I could improve on myself and how I could create it to
be
Better and look at new aspects in creating more in animation to improve and seeing how I liked doing the loop to create it to
be relaxing.
How might you make improvements to your work based on what you’ve learnt from your audience? Be specific
If I were to do this again, I would make improvements on my work to be able to create more of my own as layers with also
improving on my animate Skills so that I can make better looks in the blobs and the way they move and change that from the
Thick lines in the rock making them slowly change and grow looking like its more alive and not choppy. I would also change
The stars so that I could make them slowly fade in and out instead of having them come in and out and move places as mine
Didn’t look as smooth as I had wanted it. this would then give a better twinkling star effect if I had more of them glow at once
With a simplistic look as at one point I did not have any stars in it. I would also slightly change the colouring as it fits well with
The them but to maybe and another colour or 2 that can fit in as well because it was show a difference and look like out of
space to fit the theme and time of day.
Task 2/2: Reflect on your own skills, processes and personal development (U10:LO3_AC3.2)
Please answer ALL sections fully in order to pass this section. You can include screen grabs and links to help. This section is
about how you feel your creative abilities and processes have improved during this assignment. Answer all sections fully
with supporting images (including your own screen grabs: CMD+SHIFT+4), links and any other evidence you feel is relevant
Talk about three issues you had during production. These could be based on practical parts of the work, supporting tasks
such as research or even audience surveys.
Getting the rock to blend into the background so that it could layer over to make
the blob about it be able to move freely. This was trouble as I had this white line
behind my final overlay as I was crying different techniques to try and cover up the
background blob.
1.
I had trouble trying to start the task with the research and finding a background that I like that wasn’t too
2.
complicated for me to find different things to move.
I had some trouble with getting enough results from my target audiences so I could write feedback and evaluate
3.
people thoughts
Write about at least three things which well during the whole process?
Talk about what you felt went particularly well about them.
Adding the blobs to the rocks went well because it added something to my ambient loop this helped change the
1. way they it was looked at by the audience because it gave more realistic to the setting. This created a mysterious
feel and I felt that it made the overall outcome better.
Adding The stars and the effects that I put on them went well because it helped bring out the atmosphere and
the different colours and glow the stars were brining off. I felt that this went really well to end the process of the
2.
ambient loop because it helped in getting to bring more out in the sky and the colours that had refectected off of
it with the glow as they fitted with the rock colours.
Adding the glow and lighting went well because it was a skill that I knew how to use but helped the effect to
present to the audience with understanding the time or mysterious feel it can give off. I felt this was good as it
3.
helped the glow bring out something to the blobs making it uneasy in the ambient loop to give off the vibe that its
moving and not still helping the background with what you could vision on a space planet like that.
And finally, write a small amount about what you enjoyed about the project which you could possibly use in future work
or assignments. This could be from research, design or your practical production process. Feel free to use screen grabs.
I enjoyed being able to come up with the idea of the blobs being inside of the rocks making them become bigger and
smaller as it had an effect on them that they were more alive. With this adding the glow onto them it added the extra
effect that I liked because I used it in aftereffects that I would do again to make it have a different texture in it to be seen
in a different way to the audience.
Using aftereffects for different ways in the ambient loop is what I could use again with the different colour for the stars
making them have a glow but an out of space theme vibrance off of it this would be good as other projects to help gain
attention of audiences for it to stick with them. With this the colour of the sky changing making it too fit into the mood
of the scene to set the timing of day helping the audience to understand what they are seeing.
I would also use the techniques of an overlay from having a picture form to creating something on top this would be
useful in different media aspects because I could use pictures to drawing to affects all on top making different layers
having it create a distinctive look too see if it makes it more 3d.
