You are required to complete both sections on this sheet and place the content in your Weebly section called Evaluation.

Wherever you use a quote from any other source, please say where you got it from or it could result in a PLAGIARISM
mark which would automatically fail the unit.

Task 1/2: Reflect on how your work fits your audience (U10:LO3_AC3.1)
Please answer ALL boxes in order to pass this section. You can include screen grabs and links to help. This section is about
evaluating how your work fits the audience you have chosen to target. Answer all three questions fully with supporting
images, links and evidence of audience/survey feedback.

Choose THREE existing professional versions aimed at the same audience/genre as your work. How does yours compare to them? BE
SPECIFIC.

Example 1 of 3

watch?v=Jvgx5HHJ0qw
This is the perfect example of an
existing ambient loop that
inspired my ambient loop.
This professional has the same
style and relaxed aura that I
wanted my ambient loop to give
my target audience.

Something your loop does as well

My loop includes a fireplace and I believe I timed it well enough to spark and flicker every few seconds to give it a more realistic
look in comparison to a professional animated loop. The colour of my fire includes a vibrant orange and an underlayer of red.

Something the example does better

In this example, the motion tween with the rain drops looks incredible and the music in the background gives the loop a more
wintery feel. It is also professional so it would be animated a lot clearer than mine.
How you would improve yours based on this
I would look at the timings of the things in my animation that I want to move, such as the rain in the background. This is because
I didn’t get an opportunity to add the rain drops, I had traced over and put it into my stage to then begin animating it in the e
background of my image.

Example 2 of 3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0sjCawEOKk
This is another example of an ambient loop that inspired
me. I wanted to create something like an empty room
which has been animated with rain drops out of the
window etc because I think it makes your audience feel
relaxed when it is a rainy day.

Something your loop does as well

In comparison to a professional example, I believe my ambient loop engages with my target audience exactly how I wanted it
to. By this, I mean you could watch this and listen to it to help you study in a more relaxed way, just how I use these sorts of
videos to help myself relax.
Something the example does better
The example has better suited music. I think the background noises of the rain makes it more effective and calmer which is
something I should’ve improved on whilst in the post-production stages of this project.
How you would improve yours based on this
I think I misunderstood the music choices with my loop. As in I don’t think my music is good enough. I couldn’t export a
YouTube link into a MP4 which was more difficult because I couldn’t choose the exact music I wanted to use. However, I was
able to find a different piece of music from a non-copyrighted website and add it into Premier-Pro and add it into my ambient
loop.
