Resolution Paper MUN konferansındaki en önemli belgedir ve her konferanstaki “Approval Panel”
adlı komite tarafından kabul edilmelidir. Delegelerin, mevcut gündem maddesi üzerine yaptıkları
tespitleri ve çözüm önerilerini bir araya gelerek yazıya döktükleri belgedir. "Resolution Paper"
yazılırken dikkat edilmesi gereken belirli kurallar vardır. Resolution Paper üç alt başlığa ayrılabilir:
Belirtilmesi Gereken Bilgiler, Sorunun Açıklanması, Çözüm Önerisinin Açıklanması. Resolution
Paper yazımında noktalama işaretleri çok önemlidir çünkü Resolution Paper bir cümleden
oluşmaktadır o nedenle sadece en sona nokta koyulmaktadır.

Moderated Caucuslarda konuşulmayan çözüm önerileri katiyen yazılamaz.

Belirtilmesi Gereken Bilgiler

Her Resolution Paper’ın başında belirli bilgilere yer verilir. Bu bilgiler Forum, Agenda Item, Main
Submitter, Co-Submitter/s’lardır.

Forum: Hangi Komite için bu Resolution Paper’ın yazıldığı bilgisini verir.

Agenda Item: Hangi Agenda Item (sorun) için Resolution Paper (çözüm için öneri kağıdı) yazıldığı
bilgisini verir.

Main Submitter: Resolution Paper’ın ana yazıcısı ve savunan delegenin temsil ettiği ülkedir. Sadece
bir tane Main Submitter ülke olabilir.

Sorunun Açıklanması

Bu kısım ilk hangi Assembly’ye sunuluyorsa o Assembly’ye hitap ile başlar. Etkinlikteki topluluk
okumalarında burası bu yüzden önemlidir. Sonradan "Resolution Paper" içerisinde taslağın girişini
oluşturan ve bu kararnamenin neden komite tarafından ele alındığını ve konu üzerinde daha önceden
yapılmış uluslararası faaliyetleri dile getirir, en az 3 adet olmalıdır. Her ifade cümlesi Preambulatory
Clause adı verilen sözcük grupları ile başlar ve virgül ile sonlandırılır. Preambulatory Clause’lar italic
bir şekilde yazılır.

İlk bolümde değinilen sorun ve tespitlere yönelik çözüm ve önerilere yer verilir. Bu cümlecikler eylem
odaklıdır. Bu ifade cümlelerin Operative Clause adı verilen sözcük grupları ile başlanmalı, başına sıra
numarası eklenmeli ve sonuna noktalı virgül konulmalıdır. Operative Clause’ların altları çizili
olmalıdır. Bu ifadelerin altında verilecek alt maddelerinse "a, b, c…"harfleri ile sıralanmalı ve sonuna
virgül konulmalıdır, bu alt maddeler Operative Clauselar ile başlamaz. Alt maddeler eylem odaklı
cümleciklerden daha içeride başlamalıdır ve bir tane alt madde olmamalıdır (Olması durumunda eylem

The Special Assembly,

Alarmed, by the harmful consequences of drug usage and manufacture through carbon

in order to achieve an ideal carbon dioxide, waste, drug usage rate,

Bearing in mind, that Drug usage cannot be eliminated completely, but (as our goal) we want
to minimize both the drug usage and the environmental effects of it,

Deeply disturbed, by the fact that coca cultivation has cleared more than 300,000 hectares
(roughly 741,000,000 acres) of forests since 2001; according to the report of Gateway
Foundation, growing a single ounce (approximately 28 grams) of cannabis indoors has the
same environmental impact of burning 7 to 16 gallons of gas, depending on location,

1. Recommends an education program for drug manufacturers to raise awareness of the

effect of drugs on climate change;

a. Encouraging the creation of a lesson plan about the ways of preventing the
harmful effects of drug manufacture on climate change,

2. Draws the attention to the necessity of reducing the demand for drugs; in order to
decrease the illicit production and the consumption of natural resources for them,

 consumer demand drives this global market and the environmental harm it causes the
popularity of common drugs like marijuana, cocaine, and MDMA makes drug
production lucrative, the key is to cooperate, all together, to balance the supply and
demand for this market,

3. Further requests the formation of an international community in order to regulate the

consumption of natural resources for drug use;

a. Founding an international organization to seize cannabis and hashish, and also

to improve international security is significantly more effective than the local
organizations,
b. Establishing an international financial support system within the community
can help and support the anti-drug trafficking operations globally,
c. Forming an international community to inform people around the world and
create awareness about illegal drug usage and trafficking through yearly
events, social announcements,

4. Supports the creation of a Sewage Treatment System in order to clarify the water from
the harmful chemicals that have been disposed via drugs,

5. Calls for building regulated and reserved areas for drug usage and drug production,

6. Encourages the establishment of an UN-funded International UNODC Task Force in

order to regulate those reserved areas (stated in point 8) by checking if the right
procedures have been taken in those drug plantations of the legal-drug producers and
by controlling if there has been an illegal drug plantation, also to investigate
international drug cartels,
7. Decides to remain actively seized on the matter.
