welfare facilities to be checked and maintained before using.

Civil/Structural engineer inspect and approve the excavation before sending the workers
inside. Install and correct all barricade on site and excavations’-Pre-excavation and Daily
excavation checklist properly completed and made available onsite.

 RAIN AFTERMATH INSPECTION
1. Excavation Safety
✓ Materials, motor vehicles, cranes and heavy equipment shall be kept away from the edge of the deep
excavation.
✓ Hard barricades (e.g., concrete or water-filled plastic “jersey” barriers, metal fencing) shall be used to keep
motor vehicles, cranes and heavy equipment at the proper distance away from the excavation.
✓ Blinker lights and signs shall be in place.
✓ A documented inspection shall be performed by an excavation competent person before workers are allowed
to initially enter an excavation or after a change in site conditions.
✓ Follow SM Guide-06-002-2008 & CSM-II-1 for Excavation & Shoring Safety.

2. Electrical Safety
✓ Hand/power tools and personal ground cables shall be visually inspected by the user prior to each use.
✓ Make sure all electrical outlet, extension and panel board in secure area.
✓ All welding cables, extension cord, plug are in good condition. No damage and defect.
✓ Follow CSM III-3 Electrical Equipment

3. Traffic and Road Access.

✓ Right way of way shall be repair and safe to use.
✓ Precautions shall be implemented to prevent blocking of roadways or endangering other traffic.
✓ Access road and traffic flow shall be repair and Emergency response vehicle access shall be provided at all
times to all locations.
✓ Follow CSM I-8 Traffic and Vehicle Safety

Contractor supervisors and safety officer make sure all items were rectified
and safe to be used, then workers can be allowed to use that location.
