ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

Project TEKNO
(Teknolohiya sa Edukasyon ng Kabataan Ng bagong MilenyO)

To keep the Araling Panlipunan teachers abreast with the technology used in teaching the subject, the
AP department conducted a Division Seminar Workshop called Project “TEKNO” (Teknolohiya sa
Edukasyon ng Kabataan ng Bagong Milenyo) last May 16-17, 2018 & May 21-22, 2018. The first batch
of teacher-participants were the 33 District and Cluster Social Studies Leaders and teachers. While the
second batch consists of the AP teachers (one per school). All participants must be an ICT literate. The said
seminar aimed to:
1) discuss to the participants the role of ICT integration in teaching Araling Panlipunan;
2) develop ICT-based learning resources; and
3) develop contextualized lesson exemplars in Araling Panlipunan.
After the seminar, all participants (AP teachers) were required to submit or upload their individual
output whether it is a video or PowerPoint Presentation on the Araling Panlipunan facebook page or direct
send it to their cluster coordinator and then submit it to the division office in exchange for the certificate.
