There are four classes of properties of AB materials: physical and physico-chemical properties, kinetic properties, sensory properties, and health properties. The properties of a material greatly affect its use - an engineer must understand a material's composition and properties in order to properly utilize the material and produce desirable outcomes when creating products and machinery. A material's properties determine how it can be best evaluated, planned with, used in applications, and engineered into agricultural and other goods.

1. What are the different classes of properties of AB Materials?
There are four classes of AB Materials it is (1) Physical and Physico-chemical Properties, (2) Kinetic Properties, (3) Sensory Properties and (4) Health Properties.
2. How do the properties of Materials, relate to their use?
A property of a Material affects its use greatly, one must know the composition of the Material to make calculations on how to utilize the material properly. For instance, as future AB Engineers we are usually tasked to evaluate, plan, use and create machineries and agricultural products we must be able to understand the property of a Material in order for us to produce desirable outcomes.
