LESSON PLAN IN MAPEH 7 WITH AGRICROP 7 INTEGRATION


(ONLINE MODALITY)
Date:
Time Allotted: 1 hour
I. Objectives At the end of the lesson, the students will be able to:
a. Identify the materials that are available in the
market that were used in making the arts, crafts,
accessories, and body ornamentation of highlands
and lowlands of Luzon;

b. Create and advertise crafts that can be assembled


with materials, guided by traditional techniques
locally (e.g., habi, lilip, etc); and

c. Appreciate the arts and crafts of Luzon.

II. Subject Matter

III. Procedure
A. Motivation  Pinoy Henyo!
(5 minutes) Directions: The teacher will ask for four pairs of
students from the class to do this activity. One
student from each pair will be sent a picture through
their Messenger. They should not tell their partners
about the picture for they will guess what it is.
(Integration in PE) He/She will use movements as
hints for their partner on guessing the picture. They
will only be given one minute to do the game. The
pair who will guess the answer correctly will win a
reward from their teacher.

(The pictures are vase, accessories, tattoo and


tapestries.)

B. Activity  The students will enumerate their observations on


(5 minutes) the elements of arts found on each picture shown in
the game.

C. Analysis  The teacher will ask the following questions to the


(20 minutes) students:
1. What elements of arts can be seen in the pictures?
2. How do the elements of arts improve or enhance
the arts and crafts of Luzon?
3. How do you think they are made of?
4. Would you like to make your own arts and craft?

 The teacher will discuss about how the Arts and


Crafts of Luzon (Highlands and Lowlands) Crafts,
Accessories, and Body Ornamentation are made of.

D. Abstraction  Write a reflection/insights about how important the
(5 minutes) Arts and Crafts of Luzon in your everyday life. Can
you relate these in your daily activities? If yes, how?

The teacher will ask the students these questions:

 Can arts and crafts of Luzon benefit our industry?
 How do you think the Arts and Crafts of Luzon help
enrich the Philippine industry?

E. Application  It’s Showtime!


(15 minutes)  The student will choose one task to be performed
through a video presentation and submit to the
official Group Chat (GC) in MAPEH.

(Integration in Health)
The Health Workers: How do arts and crafts were
made? Is it handmade or machine –made
products?
They will write an essay about the question stated
above and on how they will apply the health
protocols and safety measures during the
production of their arts and crafts. They will report it
in front of the class.

(Integration in Arts)
The Artists: They will make a collage that
showcases the arts and crafts of Luzon. They can
draw or use any locally assembled materials
available for their collage. They will present it in
front of the class, explain why they chose those arts
and crafts, and how they come up with that idea on
their collage.

(Integration in Music and Agricrop)


The Singers: They will compose a five line song
about how the arts and crafts of Luzon were made.
They will also choose a dance of their interest to
compliment the song they composed. They will
perform it in front of the class.

(Integration in PE)
The Dancers: They will perform any Philippine
ethnic dance using the arts and crafts as their
costume, props, and accessories for their
performance.

VI. Evaluation I. Directions: List down the materials that are


(10 minutes) available in the market/community that were
used in making the arts, crafts, accessories, and
body ornamentation of highlands and lowlands
of Luzon.

II. Directions: Create a craft that can be assembled


with materials, guided by traditional techniques
locally. Then, advertise your finished product

learned. Choose ONLY ONE craft that you will
make.
