REORGANIZATION OF THE MUNICIPAL NUTRITION COUNCIL

WHEREAS, Malnutrition problem requires dedicated efforts of all government Officials and
Citizens.
WHEREAS, It is the duty of the government, health services and similar Institution of
Government to assist the Chief Executive in the proper implementation of
Nutrition Programs.
WHEREAS, Government efforts to prevent malnutrition problems, its causes and effects, need
to be addressed in order to adopt measures and solutions for its education.
NOW THEREFORE, I ENGR. FERDINAND L. SALALILA, Municipal Mayor of the
Municipality of Sta. Rita, Province of Pampanga, do order and direct the
reorganization of the Municipal Nutrition Council to be composed of the
following:

Section II – FUNCTIONS
 Formulate Nutrition Action Programs;
 Coordinate implementation and monitoring of agency/sectoral nutrition
activities;
 Conduct periodic field visits and meetings to assess progress of program
implementation;
 Serve as resource group to Nutrition Program;
 Hold regular/quarterly meetings;
 Prepare spot map.
