Florence Flask

Also known as a boiling flask, the Florence flask has a

round bottom and a long neck. It is used to
hold liquids and can be easily swirled and heated. It can
also easily be capped by rubber or glass stoppers.
Test Tubes
Test tubes are used to hold small samples. They are
mainly used for qualitative comparison and assessment.
When large numbers of samples are needed to be
compared and tested, these test tubes are used to
make this easier. They are also easily covered or capped
with a glass or rubber/cork stopper.
Test Tube Rack
It is made of wood, polythene, or steel on which test
tubes can be placed in an upright position. If these test
tubes become risky to touch with bare hands (in a case
due to heat or some other reason); test-tube holders
are used to moving them.
Test Tube Holder
It is used to hold test tubes. It is used for holding a test
tube in place when the tube is hot or should not be
touched.
Watch Glass
A watch glass is just a round piece of glass that is
slightly concave/convex. It can hold a small amount of
liquid or solid. They can be used for a.) evaporation
purposes and also b.) a lid for a beaker.

Evaporating Dish
It is a piece of laboratory ceramic ware used for the
evaporation of solutions and supernatant liquids and
sometimes to their melting point. Evaporating dishes
are used to evaporate excess solvents – most commonly
water – to produce a concentrated solution or a solid
precipitate of the dissolved substance.
