largest skill set relative to a particular context. It is commonly referred to in English
language. The macro skills are reading, listening, writing, and speaking.

Language educators have long used the concepts of four basic language skills:
Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing. These four language skills are sometimes
called the "macro-skills". This is in contrast to the "micro-skills", which are things like
grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and spelling.
Macro Skills in Learning ? The four macro skills of communication are listening,
talking, reading and writing. This is true for essentially any language. Babies develop
language skills by first listening and then speaking, followed by reading and writing.
Speaking skills: Speaking skills are the skills that give us the ability to communicate
effectively. These skills allow the speaker, to convey his message in a passionate,
thoughtful, and convincing manner. Description: Speaking is the productive skill in
the oral mode.
