2. Why is it that household-related work is done by women, and the same work when
done outside the house is performed by men?
The work done by the male is valued more than the work done by the female
because males are believed to be masculine and can do outside work while females
are believed to be housewives and can not earn a living and she depends on her
husband. Based on my observation, women is related in household works because
they are known as women and they only know the work inside the house and that’s
what people knew to them. And the men are outside the house because they are
known a strong and brave persons, so that if what will happen to them outside they
can defend themselves and also they are the ones who are finding their job in order
to sustain the needs of his family.
3. Is any work done at home of less importance? If so, which one and why?
Working from home is a lot more comfortable for lots of people. Employees can
save a great deal of time and money since they do not have to travel so often, which
means people will have more time for work and for themselves, too. Another drawback
is that some people may get distracted from work by external factors.
4. Does being born a boy or girl decide the type of work an individual does when
she/he grows up? Why?
Assigned sex is a label that you're given at birth based on medical factors,
including your hormones, chromosomes, and genitals. Most people are assigned male or
female, and this is what's put on their birth certificates. Being a boy or a girl, for most
children, is something that feels very natural. At birth, babies are assigned male or
female based on physical characteristics. This refers to the "sex" or "assigned gender" of
the child. Meanwhile, "gender identity" refers to an internal sense people have of who
they are that comes from an interaction of biological traits, developmental influences,
and environmental conditions. This may be male, female, somewhere in between, a
combination of both or neither.
5. Can girls/women take up work that is normally considered done by boys/men? Which
ones can be taken up and which ones cannot be done? Why?
Both the genders should be treated equally for the heterogeneous growth of
the country and in making headway to expand like developed ones. Democracy is
the strongest tool to end this discrimination against women. Save a girl child, admire
a woman and treat her equal in all respects. The freedom to work – by choice, in
conditions of dignity, safety and fairness – is integral to human welfare.
Guaranteeing that women have access to this right is an important end in itself.
6. Can boys/men take up work that is normally considered done by girls/women? Which
ones can be taken up and which ones cannot be done? Why?
The phrase “boys will be boys” is often used to justify behavior such as pushing,
shoving, or other forms of aggression from young boys. The phrase implies that
such behavior is unchangeable and something that is part of a boy’s nature.
Aggressive behavior, when it does not inflict significant harm, is often accepted from
boys and men because it is congruent with the cultural script for masculinity.

CONTEMPLATE: Reflect on the following questions: Not less than 50 words in every questions.
-Viceral is best known for his stand-up routines, in which he uses observational comedy,
situational irony and sarcasm pertaining to Filipino culture and human sexuality. He is also
the first openly gay endorser for Globe Telecom.
-I’ve seen Vice Ganda as an LGBT but for me it is not a problem anymore because he is
true to his feelings, and also he is not shy of showing to everyone that he is acceptable and
deserves to be loved. His gender is not the hindrance for being a good or kind person to
everyone, he is not a selfish person, if what he has in his life, he share this to everyone.
2. What were stereotypes portrayed by these characters?
- He's mostly known for his stand-up comedy, in which he satirizes Filipino society and
lampoons human sexuality. He has appeared in a number of films, six of which have gone
on to become critical hits, with six of them ranking among the highest-grossing films in the
history of the Filipino film industry. Vice Ganda began his professional career as a musician
before transitioning to stand up comedy. He got a job as a singer/comedian in a bar in
Manila, where the director, Richard Castaneda, gave him the nickname "Vice Ganda," which
he kept. He honed his inimitable sense of comedy over the years, harboring it on his
sardoni.
3. How can the media present the LGBT in a better way?
-In my own idea, the media can present the LGBT in a better way, just like promoting them
that LGBT are also a person who has a good intention to everyone because they also have
feelings. LGBT wanted others to accept them fully the way they are, and to feel that they
belong to everyone.
4. Is the media being an effective way to influence people towards gender equity?
-Media plays a very important role in our daily life. Media helps form our social values.
Partnering with private sector organizations, UN Women has been promoting the use of
media, especially social media, as a powerful tool to advocate for elimination of violence
against women and promote gender equality. Media has a big role in influencing people
towards gender equity because based on what I know media is a thing that can make
peoples life miserable but if media use I a good way by making everyone equal it will not be
able to have a misunderstanding. Instead media will be the reason for us to have a peaceful
and better life, not just only today but in the near future.

1. Think about the terms “cry like a girl” and “iyakin, parang bakla”.
Gender and emotion stereotypes suggest that men do not and should not cry, yet
men’s crying seems to be particularly prominent in contexts such as competitive sports.

How are the needs of women, men, and LGBTQ+ addressed through these health services?
(Not less than 50 words)
The problems in obtaining health insurance is exacerbated by non-heterosexual preference.
By the introduction of holistic and supportive views, even more should be done to secure
sexual minorities' access to health care. The findings of this study point to the need for
more in-depth discussions on the topic, as well as new research and debates, with the goal
of improving professionals and services for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender health
care. The relationship between users and health services is considered essential to
strengthen the quality of care. However, the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender
population suffer from prejudice and discrimination in access and use of these services.
