Overrunning device KR 20

The securing screws in the guide bearing of the M740 with the overrunning device KR 20
can become loose.If this happens, the securing screws must be replaced by new ones.
The threaded bores in the guide bearing should be checked for damage or chippings.
If they are damaged, the guide bearing must be replaced.
The new screws must be 22 mm long and be coated in safety adhesive.

The necessary AN:

AN 410969 - Set of securing screws
AN 214453.003 - Guide bush.

Instructions:

1. Remove the two screws on the left-hand side (i.e. the left-hand side following the direction of
motion).
2. Using a lubricating nipple, assemble the two securing screws, each with a saddle disc.
(tightening torque 50 +5 Nm)
3. Unscrew both screws on the right-hand side (i.e. the right-hand side following the direction of
motion).
4. Assemble the two securing screws, each with a saddle disc.
(tightening torque 80 +10 Nm)
