    Enlargement of the lateral yoke-bearing surfaces


    in the RC 704 hopper

    Due to the narrow lateral web in the hopper, which restricts the yoke in its
    horizontal movement, there was increased wear of the webs and markings on the yoke.
    The seal no longer functioned as a result.

    To reduce the surface pressure, square bar steel sections, 20 x 20 and 120 long, were
    welded on, as shown in the drawing.
    Part no. of retrofit kit 402428.
    In this way, there is still restricted freedom of lateral movement of the yoke.
